NSGIS is not a products company, but a problem solving company. However, through our focused approach to specific markets, and repeated successful engagements with clients, we have developed certain solutions that our clients can purchase for a fraction of their original cost of development. These solutions consist of software (both commercial software and enhancements that we have created), data models, procedures, training, and methods for getting the fastest initial deployments for the least amount of cost and risk. These solutions are a way for clients to rapidly implement enterprise geospatial solutions suited to their needs, without having to plan years in advance for large budgets to become available. Once deployed, these solutions may be further customized by clients or by NSGIS.

Some of our solutions can be purchased as software alone, but ideally they are purchased with a bundle of the necessary services, data work, and training needed to create a successful and sustainable deployment. Our optional maintenance program makes it possible to not only keep the software up to date and in line with other clients’ implementation of the same solution, but also to keep the data and skills necessary to use the systems fresh and up to date.
